The Rate Grid is used to view the Daily Rates of all Rate Plans. All changes made to rates in Manage Rates will be reflected in the Rate Grid.

The Rate Grid also gives you the ability to change the rate for one date for one Rate Plan.  To change a daily

The Rate Grid displays the CURRENT daily Rates for all of your Rate Plans in a calendar view. It an be sorted to view rates by Agent and by Date Range. Use the settings in the header above the Rate Grid, to sort the view of the Rate Grid. See below.

Agent Channels include your front desk "MyPMS Front Desk", your website "BookingCenter" and any other online channels you have set up like Expedia and Booking.com. When you choose the Agent from the drop-down list, then you will see all of the Rate Plans allocated to that channel. Therefore, if you choose "All Rates", then you will see a list of all of your rates.

Each Agent Channel displays the Rate Plans allocated to the Room Types in the channel. When you select an Agent Channel to view, then you will see the Rate plans allocated to the Room Types in that channel. If a Room Type/Rate Plan is allocated to more than one channel then it will display in those channels, however any rate changes made will apply to the Rates in all channels.

For Example,  QUEEN Room Type with RACKQUEEN Rate Plan is allocated to 3 Channels

MYPMS  - MyPMS Front Desk

BC - BookingCente" (Booking Engine)

BKGDIR- Booking.com

When these Agents are chosen in the "Agent" drop-down list, then the same RACKQUEEN Rate Plan will display under each channel. A change to RACKQUEEN Rate in the Rate Grid will apply to the Rate Plan and therefore update in all three channels.

See Allocate Room Types

Since Rate Plans are assigned to Room Types in Agent Channels (See Room Types) Therefore, in order to see the Rates for a specific Room or Room Type, you must know which Rate Plan is assigned to it.

Since Rate Plans can be allocated to more than one Room Type in one than one channel

You can add multiple Rates to a single Room Type in each Agent. There can be multiple Rate Plans assigned to one Room Type and a Room Type can be allocated to multiple channels. For example, If you wanted to offer the same NSK (non smoking king) Room Type at 3 different rates (i.e., Rack, AAA, and COR), then you would need to the Room Type 3 times each with the separate and corresponding Rate attached. One for the RACK, one for the AAA, and one for a COR rate. This would allow your guest to choose from these 3 rates when booking the NSK rooms. See examples below. See Add Room Type Allocations.

To add a new Rate Plan, go to SETUP | RATES | DEFAULT RATES. See Default Rates

To change Rates, go to SETUP | RATES | MANAGE RATES. See Manage Rates
