Send a "Start Self Check-in" Letter to Guest

The Self Check-in function is already enabled for each booking in MyPMS and is seamlessly integrated with BookingCenter Customized Letters. Once you have created the Default Esign Letter,  then you need to create a "Esign Request Letter" that will be emailed to the Guest with the secure link to access the eSign Letter.

When the guest clicks on the link , the Letter you created and set as the "Self Check-in" Letter will display with the required digital Signature boxes and allow the guest to read and sign the letter. After the guest submits the signed Letter, it is stored with the booking at a secure URL for future reference by the hotel or guest. See Digital Signature Letter Storage

the "Start Self Check-in" and "Room Entry Information" Letters have been created, then you need to the method delivery (email and/or SMS) and the timing of when the "Start Self Check-in" is sent to the Guest ( before or on the check-in date). 

The "Start  The " Self Check-in" Letter can will be automatically emailed and/or SMS to the Guest two ways  

  • Manually by using the "Letters" Tab in each booking.
  • Automatically

    with the secure link to access MyBooking by using the "Auto Letter" function to send the letter to the guest at a scheduled time before check-in or on check-in date.. If this letter is sent before the check-in date then the guest will only be able to manage Booking Details. If the Letter is sent ON the check-in date, the self check-in function will display.

     Both the "Start Self Check-in" and "Room Entry Information" Letters can be sent to the Guest via email, SMS or both.
