Self Checkin and MyGuest notifications

 

BookingCenter's Self Check-in lets the Guest update Booking Details, Add Payment Methods, Cancel the booking and complete the Self Check-in process from their mobile device. The Self Check-in function is completed in MyBooking, our secure Guest PortaPortal. MyBooking is fully integrated with MyGuest and your PMS with synchronized status updates, customized messaging and digital document signing. 

Once your site is enabled for Self Check-in, the function is enabled for each booking in MyPMS and is seamlessly integrated with BookingCenter Customized Letters and can be integrated with MyGuest. To start the process, the Guest is sent (email and SMS) a customized "Check-in" Letter/SMS with a secure link to MyBooking, the BookingCenter guest portal which allows the guest to view and update booking detailsandcompleteselfcheckdetails and complete self check-in.

 

Then, depending on the status of the booking and the criteria met, the following messages or call to action will trigger a notification to MyGuest

 

  1. Self Checkin Letter Generated
  2. Self Checkin Letter Signed
  3. Self Checkin Booking Checked In
  4. Self Checkin Booking Cancelled
  5. Self Checkin Booking Edited
  6. Self Checkin Credit Card Declined
  7. e-Sign Letter Generated
  8. e-Sign Letter Signed


The secure link emailed to the Guest is unique to each Booking and, therefore will display the detailsspecifictothethatparticularbooking. The only exception to this is a multi-room booking under the same Guest Name with the same Arrival date. If a Guest has a multi-room booking, then all of the bookings will display when anyoftheselfcheck-inlinksareclicked in any of the bookings. ThisgivestheGueststheability to view the details and check-in each booking.details specific to that particular booking. All MyGuest notifications will post in the MyGuest widget on the front desk and specific booking messages will post to the MyGuest tab that is part of the booking in myPMS

All changes made by the guest on their booking in their MyBooking page are automatically updated to MyPMS. When a guest cancels a booking in MyBooking, the booking will update in MyPMS and the status will change to Cancelled. Likewise, any changes made to Guest Details is automatically updated to the Guest Booking Information in MyPMS. These changes withtruiggertyhenotification to MyGuestMyPMS and notification is sent to MyGuest.
