What is MyBooking?

MyBooking is an online booking service offering guests the ability to manage and edit guest Information. New Bookings cannot be made on MyBooking. If a guest cancels a booking in the MyBooking area (if enabled, see Self Cancellation of Bookings in MyBookings for details), the booking updates in MyPMS and the status changes to Cancelled (by Guest).

In this secure area, guest can view ant Letters sent by the property, the Sign agreement (usually the Registration Letter), print/email or add to a calendar the Booking Details. The guest can also edit their contact information enabling the property to contact the guest directly.b. All changes made by the guest are automatically updated to MyPMS.

The MyBooking area also displays your marketing policies (deposit, cancellation, and confirmation) and privacy policies.

How does MyBooking work?

Customize MyBooking to your property

MyBooking can  be customized to your property by adding a logo, displaying your marketing policies and creating a customized letter. See MyBooking - Customize to Property

Create a Letter or use an existing one to invite Guests to manage their booking.

  • First, use an existing Letter (such as your Confirmation Letter) that explains how a Guest can access the MyBookings area by 'clicking' the RUID link available for any Letter.  See Merge Fields - Individual Letters
  • If the Letter inviting the Guest to 'manage their booking' is part of your daily process (such as a Confirmation Letter sent after an online booking; or an eSign sent on a scheduled basis) this Letter will go out via SMS/WhatsApp and/or email automatically.  But you could also create a Letter that is manually sent to a select Booking (or Group booking). If doing the invite manually, make sure the Guest has the right SMS/WhatsApp number saved and/or email (view this in the Booking Data Tab.) 
  • Open an existing booking in MyPMS, and in the 'Letters' tab, send the required Letter.  
  • The guest receives the SMS/WhatsApp message and/or email and the Booking to be accessed is achieved by clicking the RUID link which takes them to https://mybooking.bookingcenter.com/ with the correct booking loaded.
