Booking Window


Click on any booking and a pop-out window will appear with a summary of the Booking and the following options. This example is an Active Booking.

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Buttons: Each booking will show the active buttons available for the type of booking. For example, a complete booking would only . See below for detail on the active buttons for each type of booking.

Check in - Checks the guest in

Check out - Checks the guest out or takes you to the guest folio if the folio isn't balanced. Cancel Booking - Takes you to the cancel booking screen. If you wish to apply an cancellation charge you must do it prior to Canceling the Booking. simply outputs the folio to a new browser window where you can print it.

Cancel Booking

Clone Booking: Completely clones the source booking including all guest detail, arrival and departure dates, room type and rates. This button, presented at bottom in line with other buttons, is only available after a Booking has been saved. At such a time, pressing the 'Clone Booking' button will make a duplicate booking, with NO ROOM assignment (even if the booking that is being used as the 'source' of the clone has a Room assignment, only the Type and Rate will clone to the new cloned booking). The cloned booking will have the same guest Details as the 'source' of the clone and if needed, the user will have to 'escape out' of the Guest record to enter a new Guest Details for the cloned booking. There is no longer any relationship between a cloned source and cloned booking once guest relationship has been escaped. See Clone Booking.

Booking Details – takes you to the main page of the booking where you can edit guest contact information and more.

Print/Email Booking Confirmation – Takes you to the Letters section of the booking.
