This release brings new Kiosk Self Check-in services, major enhancements to Kiosk Self Check-in, Agent and Owner Functions, Auto Authorizations and several bug fixes
NEW Self Check-in Payment and Room Access Options
- BookingCenter can link to a ‘lock system’ (whether keyless, swipe, RFID, Wi-Fi, or Low Energy BlueTooth). For most implementations we require that the Guest Services Module is purchased and installed. We have more detail on the Guest Services Module here.
- The Self Check-in process can automate payments via policies you establish. The method for acquiring an authorization or payment requires either Traditional MyCard or EMV MyCard. Or, you can offer a mix of payment options, with some bookings paying via an EMV terminal (what we call 'EMV MyCard') while others manually manage credit cards (what we call 'Traditional MyCard'). Self Check-in via Mobile and/or Kiosk support these payment options:

NEW FEATURES
Booking Engine: Add Flag to XML BE to Display Property Name (Yes/No)
Communications to Owners - Emails and/or SMS Letter: If you wish the Owner to be notified when an online booking occurs for the Owner's unit(s) then make sure the option: Send Letter? is set to YES .
Assign a Default Letter and/or SMS for the specific Owner. If a default Letter(s) is assigned, an online booking will trigger the Owner Email and/or SMS to the Owner with the details saved in the Letter.
