When you receive a MyCard EMV© device from your merchant processor, it will have been pre-installed with a BookingCenter 'application' that should make it ready to go 'out of the box'.  You will need to get power and internet access to the device, and once you do, the EMV device will power up, grab an Internet address, which is by default done via DHCP, and then register itself to your BookingCenter system.  There are no other steps you need to do if you allow DHCP addressing of network devices.

If you manually assign IP numbers to devices on your network, that is fine.  But you will need to refer to the manual from the EMV device manufacturer and/or merchant processor for assistance in manually assigning IPs that work for your network.
