Tools and Navigation

MyPMS attempts to use as many “web” tools as possible. The following are an example of some of the basic functions provided.

• For instance, if a word is underlined it is probably a hyperlink to something associated to that word.
• Use basic browser functions to cut, copy and paste: Ctrl C, Ctrl X, Ctrl V,
• However, there are some functions that need to be accomplished that are beyond the classical tools that browsers provide. These tools were created to behave as the typical user would expect. In fact, these tools were refined by observing users on the system. In this section, we will review some of these more specialized and proprietary tools.
• The third letter is entered, and a server-side search is initiated.
• Select a record by either double-clicking it, or highlighting it then pressing enter. The screen will then refresh with the correct guest record.
