Important Update

 

Implement a three-year window on MyPMS Reservations We need to limit how far reservations can be entered into MyPMS. The current consensus is three (3) years.We need the 4 areas where dates can be chosen to restrict the Arrival date to no more than 3 years form current date:

 

1) Bookings area: Tape Chart, Avail Chart, and the Edit tab of a Booking

 

2) Group Booking: Group Booking Wizard page 2 and the Edit tab of the Group Booking


Featured Enhancement

  • Tax Transactions Report "line item" all the taxable items. It will model the "Transactions" Report, but report just the taxable fields (versus all fields).Unlike the Transaction report, the Tax Transactions report will report NOT need Credit Card and Non Credit Card. It will also report ONLY on taxable items. Like the other story mentioned (for example), if "Cleaning Fee" if not taxable, "Cleaning Fee" will not be listed on this Tax Transaction report. On the other hand, "Room Rent" is often taxable and non-taxable (for tax exempt). In this case, the report will only pull the taxable room rent.

Enhancements

  • Guest History link on New Booking Window: Easily look up Guest HIstory when making a new booking. Enter Guest Name and click the Guest History link to see all history for that particular guest. See New Booking Guest Information

    • Daily Report - "Bookings with Unassigned Rooms": This new report gives you a running list of all future bookings (Confirmed and Unconfirmed) that do not have a room assigned. See Bookings with Unassigned Rooms Report

  • Sort Active and Inactive Users: Users are now displayed in an "Active" or "Inactive" User list to make keeping track of active users easier. See Users

    • Group Booking Engine:

    Display Room Rate and Total: The "Add Room" function in the Group Booking Engine now displays the Room Rate and Reservation total when a guest is making a booking. See Using Group Booking Engine

    • Print reg cards via Room Number option The Print All Reg cards is currently arranged alphabetically by last name, but some properties prefer to organize incoming registrations by room number. Is it possible to make the Print All Reg Cards report offer an option to organize its output by ascending room number instead of alphabetically by last name.
    • Session the TC so it stays on the same date. After making new booking from Tape Chart, the
    • Sort Arrival, in house, and departure drop downs If we could place a sort feature on the 3 drop downs: Arrival, in house, and departure to enable sort by Last Name AND Room #, this would be very helpful.  Right now it only does LastName.
    • Group Booking default page We need to offer search via Grp Title as well as Group Name.  So, the current field needs to become a drop down, with default to Group Name (as it is now and has been).
    •  Delete Room Type - Create Flag for user
    • Group Booking Engine:

      • Display or hide "Rooming List" from Guests on the Group Booking Engine. See Customize Group Booking Engine

      • Rates on Add Booking: Move currency to right of rate

      • Add Rate and Total to Add Room function

      • Need to Spell out Adults/Children/Infants

    • Owner Login: Each unit owner can now go to https://owners.bookingcenter.com and log in to see their details, bookings, commissions and reports. Learn more about Owner Login

    MyCARD Customers: To prepare for certification of PAX devices for EMV and NFC (near field communication such as, Applepay or Googlepay), we have added a “NFC/EMV Reader” setting in SETUP | PMS | SETUP. See Setup

  • If set your property is set to YES, then 2 buttons will appear in the Manage Credit Cards window: 1). Swipe and NFC and, 2) Pin Card

    • For properties with multiple PAX Reader devices:. A new menu Item for Pax Devices with a "List Type" of devices and a 'Details" page for details to be verified/edited

     

    We are pleased to announce that the following software bugs were fixed in this release:

  • Group Letter Merge Fields for Projected Accommodation and Projected Tax were not calculating correctly.

  • Projected income not calculating correctly when changing to manual rate in New booking window.

  • Booking By Inquiry Screen showed zero availability if you select "Manual" Rates.

  • When "Guaranteed By" was blank, an error message was returned when saving a booking.

  • Group Booking Engine "Add Booking" now reflects system label entries and is spelled out. I.e. Adults/Children/Infants  

  • Adding a New User returns error if the User ID is already in use. User ID will now be verified in lookup list before saving. 

  • New USER ID was allowing spaces and "special characters".

  • Room assignment not changing when a new Room Type selected.

    • Tax exempt report omits bookings paid by DB
    • Additional Taxes - need 3 decimals places
    • No Edit of User Name in MyPMS
    • Can't create booking for repeat guest w carriage return in comments
    • Setting a room to 'Select from List' clears the room assignment, but shows the prior room commit in the room drop down
