Enhancements

  • Guest History link on New Booking Window: Easily look up Guest HIstory when making a new booking. Enter Guest Name and click the Guest History link to see all history for that particular guest. See New Booking Guest Information

  • Daily Report - "Bookings with Unassigned Rooms": This new report gives you a running list of all future bookings (Confirmed and Unconfirmed) that do not have a room assigned. See Bookings with Unassigned Rooms Report

  • Sort Active and Inactive Users: Users are now displayed in an "Active" or "Inactive" User list to make keeping track of active users easier. See Users

  • Group Booking Engine:

    • Display Room Rate and Total: The "Add Room" function in the Group Booking Engine now displays the Room Rate and Reservation total when a guest is making a booking. See Using Group Booking Engine

    • Display or hide "Rooming List" from Guests on the Group Booking Engine. See Customize Group Booking Engine

  • Owner Login: Each unit owner can now go to https://owners.bookingcenter.com and log in to see their details, bookings, commissions and reports. Learn more about Owner Login and Booking Management

  • MyCARD Customers: To prepare for certification of PAX devices for EMV and NFC (near field communication such as, Applepay or Googlepay), we have added a “NFC/EMV Reader” setting in SETUP | PMS | SETUP. See Setup

    • If set your property is set to YES, then 2 buttons will appear in the Manage Credit Cards window: 1). Swipe and NFC and, 2) Pin Card

    • For properties with multiple PAX Reader devices:. A new menu Item for Pax Devices with a "List Type" of devices and a 'Details" page for details to be verified/edited

 

We are pleased to announce that the following software bugs were fixed in this release:

  1. Group Letter Merge Fields for Projected Accommodation and Projected Tax were not calculating correctly.

  2. Projected income not calculating correctly when changing to manual rate in New booking window.

  3. Booking By Inquiry Screen showed zero availability if you select "Manual" Rates.

  4. When "Guaranteed By" was blank, an error message was returned when saving a booking.

  5. Group Booking Engine "Add Booking" now reflects system label entries and is spelled out. I.e. Adults/Children/Infants  

  6. Adding a New User returns error if the User ID is already in use. User ID will now be verified in lookup list before saving. 

  7. New USER ID was allowing spaces and "special characters".

  8. Room assignment not changing when a new Room Type selected.

  9. Receipt Types Guarantee By Not Saving With Bookings: Req, XML, and imported
