The Managers Reports area contains Reports for tracking and analyzing Bookings, Occupancy and Revenue.The Reports can be run for a specific date or date range and sorted by various data such as source, agent and room type.

The Reports are designed to be used in combination to give a summary view and detailed information when needed. For example, run the Revenue Report by "Source" for June. To see the details of the bookings from a source, run the Bookings Report by "Source" for June.

The is the most comprehensive summary or " Manager's Report provides daily summary and a running month and year to date total of revenue, charges, payments, occupancy, advanced deposits and accounts receivable. This is the most useful day-at-a-glance" report offered in MyPMS .

Booking Production Report: Booking reports by dates created 'on' or 'between' dates, sorted and summarized per User. 

Booking Report: Booking reports by dates created 'on' or 'between' dates, sorted and summarized per User. Similar to the Booking Production Report, which is also meant to report on all Bookings made 'on' or 'between' dates, the Bookings Report sorts by company, market, rate plan, source, or travel agent. Ex. To find out which of your marketing efforts has produced the most reservations last year, choose your dates and sort by company, market, rate plan, source, or travel agent. 

Managers Report: Use this report to find details on Folio Charges and Income, Payments, Occupancy, Advanced Deposits and Accounts Receivable, among others. This is the most useful 'day-at-a-glance' report offered in MyPMS.

Occupancy Report: Measures both past occupancy trends by all Rooms or by Room type.

Occupancy Forecast Report: measures future occupancy trends by all Rooms.

Revenue Report: Use this report to track total income generated sorted by company, market, rate plan, source, or travel agent. The ADR (average daily rate) is the sum of Inventory Item RENT posted on folios, divided by the count of Room Nights and rounded to two decimal points. The 'Room revenue' is only the summary of the numbers posted to the Inventory Item: RENT (done at Night Audit or manually, depending on your setup). Non Room Revenue is the total of all charges on the folios Except the Item: RENT. Thus, if you have a 'Cancellation Fee' that is part of the Inventory Group: RENT this is still considered as 'Non Room Revenue' on the reports. If you are posting Charges (Rent and/or other Charges) in advance of the current System Date (not common), then this posting will not be tallied as a normal operation would be. But the report date range will take any future posted folio Charges if the date range is included in the request.

Tax Exempt Report:

is the Manager's Report. This report is often run daily to see daily activity and transactions. The report provides a summary of daily, month-to-date and year-to-date totals of revenue, charges, payments, AR Accounts, ARC, ARD and Forecasted Occupancy.

  • Reports that displays only one date option in the date picker will display the running total as of that date. For example, if you choose April 4, 2016, then the total amounts will be as of April 4, 2016.

How to use Managers Reports

To get a daily snapshot of all transactions, balance and forecasted Occupancy, use the Manager's Report:
The Manager's Report is the most comprehensive summary report of daily, month-to-date and year-to-date revenue, payments, AR Accounts, ARC, ARD and Forecasted Occupancy. It is recommended that all property managers run this report each day to see a summary of Daily/Monthly/Yearly activity and transactions: You can then see the details of the summary data displayed in other reports. To see a report of bookings sorted by "Source", use the Bookings Report: 

The Bookings Report creates a summary report of booking activity and room revenue generated on a specific date or date range by Agent, Company, Guest Type, Rate Plan, Room Type, Source and User. This report is primarily used to analyze the volume of booking activity and the room revenue generated by source, room type, etc. This includes the # of bookings, room nights, ADR, total revenue, % of revenue. Booking Production Report This report analyzes the production or creation of bookings by all sources and users. It is The creates a report of bookings that were booked or created by users and, on a specific date or date range.This report is often used to track the "Pace of Bookings" (sometimes called a 'pace report') to see how productive booking generation is for a property during specific times. Go to Manager's Report to see details and examples.

If you have bookings set to "Tax Exempt" and need a report, then use the Tax Exempt Report

The Tax Exempt Report:

Displays bookings that have been set to "Tax Exempt" in the Booking Data of the booking. See Booking Data
