The First Step will be to organize a sales strategy.  A Room Type is a marketing package; it has a description, picture, maximum guest capacity and rate.

A Room Type may be a common description for a number of Rooms like Queen, Single, King, Suite . Or, it may represent a single  unique room such as Romance Suite.  Each Room Type will have an inventory of Rooms available which will be added in the next step, Rooms.

Rate Plans allow you to create the different rate structures for the different room types you offer. The Rate Plans you setup here appear in guest folios, statements and anywhere your rooms are sold online like your website and OTA channels.

Rate Plans define unique rates for weekdays and weekends, the number of occupants, minimum length of stay, etc.   In Step 5 we will create the room types and apply these to the Rate Plans in this step.

This section will walk you through adding your basic rate plans for the specific rooms associated with your room types, including features and discounts.

There are two steps to complete in this section.
