The High Balance report is only used for clients using MyCard (the integrated credit card processing for MyPMS). See MyCard

The report looks for ALL auth amounts for an active Booking or Group Booking, and when the folio(s) balance has hit 90% of that amount, the High Balance report brings it to the attention of management.This report chooses folios whose balances have surpassed the authorized amount taken High Balance report is used to identify active Individual and Group Bookings with folio balances have exceeded or are reaching the amount authorized at check in. Or, if an 'incremental auth' was done, that are higher than that amount. Basically, whose account in the case of an "Incremental Auth", the folio balance has exceeded that authorized amount. This

The report allows one to see which bookings may be in trouble with being able to apply payment.brings to the attention of the management which bookings may need an additional or increased authorization amount or need a payment taken. Effectively, it tells management to 'watch out' for charges that may exceed authorized amount.

 

This report displays all bookings with balances that have exceeded the authorized amount and bookings which are reaching the authorized by a percentage you enter. For example, all folio balances that have reached 90% of the authorized amount on the credit card.
