The Bookings Report creates a list of bookings that were booked or created on a specific date or date range and sorted by a specific term you choose like Source or Room Type.
This report is primarily used to analyze booking activity for a specific time frame to see the most popular room types, the average # of room nights, the ADR, total revenue, % of revenue, etc.
This report is also useful for tracking the sources of your booking activity to determine productivity for specific channels or agents. It can also used to see which room types are getting the most bookings for planning and maintenance purposes.
Run multiple reports for different time frames to compare productivity to previous periods. Save the reports to Excel or .csv to merge the data or graph the comparisons. See Saving Reports to Excel
Note that the "Revenue" column displays totals from the rates originally saved with the bookings - not any charges (such as RENT) posted to the folio(s).
To see the details of these bookings, choose the Booking Production Report for the same date range. See Bookings Production Report
Tip
Use the Search Bookings function to create detailed lists of bookings. These lists give a comprehensive look at all booking activity and allows one to 'drill down' to include other filters such as 'Room Type", Rate Plans or other features.
